Terms of Service

These terms of service defines and explains the services My Tomodachi Japan (MTJ) provides. MTJ provides temporary staffing and life style support services. Please read the following terms of service carefully in order to fully understand the services My Tomodachi Japan (MTJ) provides before accepting to use such services.

  • Article 1(Maitomo Japan)

     Maitomo Japan (hereafter referred to as "Service") is a dispatching and employment agency service provided by Maitomo Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Our Company").

  • Article 2(Registration procedure)

     When registering online, the person who registers for Service (hereinafter referred to as "Registrant") must do it by himself / herself according to the guidance on the website on this service and the method prescribed by Our Company.

  • Article 3(Scope of use of registrant information)
    • 1. Our Company will use the information obtained from Registrant (hereinafter referred to as "Registrant Information") for communication regarding the provision of Service. In addition, Our Company will contact Registrant by telephone, e-mail, etc.
    • 2. Of the Registrant Information, information related to business skills may be provided to the dispatched / employment agency where Registrant plan to work.
  • Article 4(Introduction of job information)

     If Our Company finds a job listing that matches Registrant's wishes and business skills, Our Company will introduce it to Registrant. However, Registrant may be asked to come to Our Company for the registration procedure for the introduction.

  • Article 5(Change of Registrant Information)

     If there is a change in Registrant Information and the information that accompanies it, Registrant shall promptly carry out the procedure for the change.

  • Article 6(Cancellation of registration)

    Regardless of the reason, the Registrant can be canceled (deleted) by the procedure of registration.

  • Article 7(Handling of personal information)

    For the handling of personal information in this Service, please refer to "Handling of personal information".

  • Article 8(Duplicate registration)

    Registrant cannot make multiple registrations by himself. If multiple registrations are confirmed for the same Registrant, Our Company may integrate and delete Registrant Information without obtaining the consent of Registrant.

  • Article 9(Prohibitions of Registrant)
    • 1. In Service, Registrant shall not perform the acts specified in the following items or the acts that may cause them.
      • (1) Acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights, privacy, honor, portrait rights, etc. of Our Company or a third party.
      • (2) Acts that discriminate, criticize, attack or defames Our Company or a third party.
      • (3) Acts that give a disadvantage to Our Company or a third party.
      • (4) The act of registering, notifying, or providing duplicate information, false information, or information other than the user.
      • (5) The act of providing information for the purpose of business activities or profit.
      • (6) Political, election, religious, or similar activities.
      • (7) The act of using the information obtained through Service beyond the scope of reproduction, sale, publication, or other private use.
      • (8) Acts that interfere with the operation of Service or acts that damage the credibility of Our Company.
      • (9) Violent behavior or similar acts.
      • (10) Acts that violate the law or public order and morals.
      • (11) In addition to the acts specified in the preceding items, acts determined by Our Company to be unrelated to job hunting.
    • 2. Our Company will suspend the use of Service for users who have performed the acts specified in the preceding paragraph. And Our Company reserves the right to refuse to use it in the future.
  • Article 10(Elimination of Antisocial Forces)
    • 1. Registrant assure that he / she has not and will not be one of the persons listed below. If Registrant is applicable, or if it turns out to be applicable, Our Company shall be able to immediately suspend the use of Service without requiring any special notice.
      【A gangster, or a member of a gangster, or those who have stopped being members of the gangsters and have not passed five years yet. A person who is equivalent to a member of a gangster, or extortionist, a social movement, etc., a special intelligent violent group, or any other person who is equivalent to these. (Hereinafter collectively referred to as "Antisocial Forces")】
    • 2. If Registrant falls under any of the following items, Our Company shall be able to immediately suspend the use of Service without requiring any special notification.
      • (1) Acting intimidatingly against Our Company, using violence, or damaging the reputation or credibility of Our Company.
      • (2) Interfering with Our Company’s business by using counterfeiting or power.
      • (3) Making unreasonable demands beyond legal responsibility to Our Company.
      • (4) To use a third party, which is an Antisocial Force, to perform the acts of the preceding three items.
  • Article 11(Disclaimer)

    If the registrant or a third party suffers damage due to the use of Service, Our Company shall not be liable unless the cause of the damage is due to Our Company.

  • Article 12(Service changes, etc.)
    • 1. Our Company may change or temporarily suspend Service without prior notice to Registrant.
    • 2. After notifying Registrant with a one-month notice period, Our Company may suspend or terminate the provision of this service for a long period of time.
  • Article 13(Separation clause)

    Even if some of Terms are invalidated by law or final judgment, the other provisions will continue to be in effect.

  • Article 14 (Change of terms)
    • 1. In the following cases, Our Company may change Terms without obtaining the consent of Registrant.
      • (1) If the changes to Terms are in the general interests of Registrant.
      • (2) When the change of Terms do not violate the purpose of Service, and it is reasonable in light of the necessity of change, the appropriateness of the changed content, the content of the change, and other circumstances related to the change.
    • 2. When changing Terms according to the preceding paragraph, at least one month before the change implementation date, Our Company will post the change of Terms and the contents of Terms after the change on Service or notify the registrant by e-mail.
  • Article 15(Matters to be discussed)

    If there is any doubt about the interpretation of Terms, or if there is a matter not stipulated in Terms, Our Company and the user shall discuss and resolve it in good faith.

  • Article 16(Governing law and jurisdiction)

    Terms is governed by Japanese law, and the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court shall be the exclusive jurisdiction court of the first instance for all disputes arising regarding Service and Terms.
    【Supplementary provisions】
    If Registrant want to work as a temporary employee, Registrant must comply with Our Company's work rules and follow the prescribed procedures.

  • Article 17(How to register for temporary staffing and recruitment)

    For the explanation of the temporary staffing business and the temporary staffing business, a video is attached to this website instead of visiting the company. Therefore, Users must watch this video before Users can register for Service. By watching this video, Our Company Interprets that Users have an understanding of the dispatching business and the temporary staffing business.

  • Article 18(Fee)

    When visiting Japan from overseas with Service, Registrant must pay a fee of 150,000 yen. The payment method will be transfer from an overseas account to the account designated by Our Company, and the remittance fee must be borne by Registrant. In addition, in the event of a pandemic, natural disaster, or other unavoidable political conflict, or if Registrant cannot come to Japan due to his / her own circumstances, the fee will not be refunded and Registrant shall agree this.

  • Effective: April 1, 2019

We, My Tomodachi Japan Co., Ltd. declares that, in terms of handling personal information for the sake of our worker dispatching services and charged employment placement services, make it a top priority to handle the said personal information of employees and customers accurately and securely, and stipulate, implement, and maintain this privacy policy through the following terms.

Acquisition, use, and provision of personal information
We shall specify the purpose of using personal information within the scope of our business activities, and shall fairly and appropriately obtain, use, and maintain personal information limited to the extent necessary to achieve the said objectives.
Compliance to laws and norms
We shall be compliant with the laws, national guidelines, norms and social order in regard to personal information, and shall strive to appropriately protect personal information.
Appropriate management of personal information
All information provided to us is stored on our secure servers. Unfortunately the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at the employees and customers own risk. Upon request, we shall address in a reasonable period of time and extent the following after confirming the identity of the person or a surrogate that made such a request.
